Reviews of this section will be made as information becomes available. Currently, a major web-site is in the works for the two Summer of 2000 movies. There's also a sub-section in the works for MARS IMAX 3D, but not for awhile since the movie doesn't come out for TWO years.

Sunday, Nov. 28	Mission to Mars A logo has appeared online that seems to be from the movie M2M. This would appear to be the logo that the astronauts would wear on their uniforms on the long MISSION TO MARS. > View the logo larger

Monday, Nov. 15	Red Planet An interview with Benjamin Bratt gleans some interesting information about the upcoming movie RED PLANET. For example, the scenes that takes place on Earth occur in Egypt, as opposed to Cape Canaveral or Houston. Also, we learn that the character that Benjamin plays is an air force lieutenant. Friday, Nov. 5	Red Planet Some interesting info about RED PLANET. Apparently, the blue space suits of the astronauts are covered with corporate logos - COOL! Read the whole story

	M2M & Red Planet The release dates for each movie just got a lot more solid. M2M should hit theaters on March 10, 2000 and RED PLANET on June 16, 2000. Read the whole story

Monday, Nov. 1	M2M It appears as if M2M will indeed be the first Mars movie to make it into theaters next year. Look for it on screens March 10, 2000. Read the whole story

Monday, October 25	M2M "Hollywood Pictures' MISSION TO MARS" is cosponsoring Planetfest '99 (December 3-5). This year's Planetfest is scheduled to coincide with the "Mars Polar Lander" touching down on the south pole of Mars. My guess is that there will be some images from the movie M2M shown at the "Planetfest", if not actual scenes from the film. The above logo was pulled from the Planetfest web-site.
