as information becomes available. Currently, a major sub-site
is in the works for the two Summer of 2000 movies. There's
also a sub-section in the works for MARS IMAX 3D, but not
for awhile since the movie doesn't come out for TWO years.

Interestingly enough, THE HOLLYWOOD reporter has "classified"
MISSION TO MARS as a "Action/Drama" while calling
RED PLANET "Science Fiction". Maybe it's because
RED PLANET's set further in the future than M2M which makes
this movie "Sci Fi" rather than a "Action Drama".
Filming for M2M was set to start July 13th, while RED PLANET
began shooting last week (September 1st).

from Jim Cameron's Mars movie, MARS IMAX 3D. They were released
from The Mars Society from Jim Cameron when he gave a speech
at their organization.

 Even
though the movie's only SEVEN months away from being
released, the kind people who are making the movie MISSION
TO MARS have decided to release a really cool teaser poster
in order to promote the upcoming film. MISSION TO MARS is
currently in the process of being filmed. The poster would
seem to indicate that the tag-line for the movie is "LET
THERE BE LIFE".
This "idea" would seem to go along with the script
to the movie M2M.

Cinescape has reported
that Kim Delaney (NYPD BLUE) has joined the cast
of MISSION TO MARS. Delaney will play the part of an astronaut
who is married to Gary Sinise's character. |
