All right, I'll admit this. I've never been fond of the idea of drowning aboard a submarine. I'm glad to get this out in the open. I feel healed.

   Anyway, the trailer for the movie U-571 looks interesting enough. It takes the true story of the search for the Enigma machine and it's codes and gives it a certain spin. This time the operation is done by the Americans (the English in real life) and the Americans become trapped aboard the German sub. They are forced to battle their own forces in a desperate attempt to deliver the machine to the allied forces. 1/18/2000
