Doc Atlas (Doc Savage) – Three Original Pencil Illustrations Used in Double Danger Tales #53
'The Riddle of the Sphinx'

Price – $30.00 + $5.00 shipping
8 1/2" x 11" on paper

Each is illustration is  8-1/2" x 11" on paper

You are bidding on not one but THREE original pencil illustrations of Doc Atlas (who looks a heck of a lot like Doc Savage) by noted Doc Savage fan artist Tim Faurote. These drawings were used as a basis to illustrate the story entitled 'The Riddle of the Sphinx' in the pulp fiction style magazine Double Danger Tales #53. The illustrations include a great shot of Doc all alone (worth the price of the auction all by itself and used as the cover illustration), one of Doc clobberin' a villain, and another of Doc rocketing away on a vintage WWII era motorcycle.

Also included in the auction is an actual copy of Double Danger Tales #53 so that you can brag to your friends that you own original illustrations used in the magazine.

The paper these illustrations are drawn on is in very good condition. I would rate the quality these illustrations are in as 4.8 out of 5. These would look great framed.

These illustrations and magazine come signed by the artist. If you're a Doc Savage fan you absolutely cannot miss out on these great pieces.

Please e-mail with any questions.
