D.U. Late 2000 to Mid 2001
This design was still icon centric instead of entertainment centric. The homepage of the site was built in Flash while the interior pages were HTML. Interestingly enough, a music player originally developed for a previous test site was reused in this site.

This version also featured an opening animation featuring the voice of the HAL computer from the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey" beginning on 01/01/2001.

D.U. Mid 2001 to Late 2003
The version of the site that has since defined what Dangerous Universe is; "the pop-culture webzine of Bert and friends."

The most complex version of the site to build since I had to learn ASP from the ground up to do the things I wanted to do with the site. I had considered using a program like Blogger to have a fully automated news feed but was unhappy on how some of the features to the program worked. So I built my own content management system for the site myself. It only took me a year until I felt comfortable with ASP!
