Test Version of D.U. 2000
The previous test version of the site was reworked into this version.
However, even this didn't launch but came very, very close to doing
so. As with the previous test version, this version would have been
built primarily in Flash with HTML interior pages. Whereas the Flash
elements of the site were dropped, the overall design and interior pages
were reused in the next version of the site.
I think this version of the site looks extremely good
and it's a shame that it was never got used.
D.U. Early-Mid 2000
This incarnation of the site momentarily marked a shift from Dangerous
Universe the pop-culture site to Dangerous Universe the icon site. Nonetheless,
this version of the site was only online for a few months.
Almost Launched Mid 2000
I seriously considered closing Dangerous Universe when I started running
out of ideas as what to do with the site. It was a mediocre movie review
site at best. I considered turning Dangerous Universe into a portfolio
site for my work. Dangerous Universe really clicked when I shifted the
sites focus away from strictly movies to more pop-culture which brought
in many more elements for me to play with.
Thank god I never launched this.
