Starring:

Robert De Niro, Jean Reno, Jonathan Pryce, and Natascha McElhone

RONIN MOVIE OVERVIEW:

The Cold War has ended, and six mercenaries are glad to find themselves employed once again. Hired by a mysterious woman, the mercenaries are assembled together in France to steal a briefcase. Plot-twist envelopes plot-twist as the mercenaries begin to turn on one and other in order to take possession of the case. Are the mercenaries working together? Is the mysterious woman hiding anterior motives? Who is the man with no last name "Sam", Robert DeNiro? A supposed ex-CIA agent who likes to begin a fight with a grenade launcher and end it with a LAW Rocket. As the movie unfolds, the audience is sent riding "shotgun" in the passenger seat of an AUDI blasting 120 down the extremely narrow streets of the old French cities, all the while going the wrong way.

From the over-the-top car chases and shoot-outs to the surprise ending, Ronin is a must see.

RONIN WEB SITE REVIEW:

Ronin, the web site is truly unique. Although there is a lot of time spent on the site waiting for things to load, be sure to have a fast connection for this one, the overall site is really decent. There was all the general movie info and pics and the movie related game, which seems to be turning up on all the movie sites of recent, but there was really nothing, other than the design, that was spectacular. One thing that I really disliked about the site was that the whole thing was based on a map. To get from point "A" to point "C" you MUST go through point "B". This takes a lot of time going through pages you might not be interested in to get to the ones you want to see. Further, it wasn't until I was about to log off that I discovered a button labeled "BACK DOOR" which was a site map for the page. Be sure to use this to travel to the areas you want to see instead of going through the map sequences. If you do go through the map scenes, be sure to simply click on the load icons to expedite your wait.
